THE HORSES

The horses are a mix of quarter horses and warmbloods and are in western tack. The horses are forward and fit so you’ll be able to enjoy many quick canters each day.

Borut’s wife has a love of Icelandic horses and there are two in the herd that you can ride if you would like to. Fruc has a very cheeky personality and has no problem keeping up with the larger horses. Askia is very beautiful, with a thick luscious mane and a grey/blue and white paint coat. She famously has a very smooth canter and is nicknamed the ‘Magic Carpet’!

ACCOMMODATION

This is a centre based ride with comfortable accommodation in the village of Trnje. The B&B has two twin rooms and a triple room. The rooms are clean and comfortable but not glamorous, although guests will enjoy the beautiful horse photos, art and memorabilia spread around – your hosts are true horse lovers!

Guests will have your own room entrances, so there is plenty of privacy.

Each of the rooms has a private bathroom but this is not necessarily an en-suite. The rooms will also have views across the fields to the horses or over the gardens.
