PART TIME RIDING SAFARI BOOKING AGENT
Role Details
Part Time Booking Agent
Job type: Part Time Contractor
Pay: £20 an hour
Location: Fully Remote
Hours: 9am - 12pm London Time at least four days a week. Minimal flexibility on hours.
BRIEF
We are looking for an organised individual that is passionate about travel and offering an excellent level of service to our guests. As a booking agent you will help our guests to find their dream safari and support them though the whole journey from initial enquiry to gaining feedback after the ride.
You don’t need any travel industry experience. We love working with highly skilled people on a career break looking for a change. Ideally you will be able to give us at least three months in exchange for the training required.
OUR VALUES
We believe good service is in the detail. We are focused on sharing accurate, timely information with guests so that they can discern which safari is best suited to them. We are organised, naturally curious, we keep our promises and commitments, we have excellent record keeping skills, we’re ambitious and get satisfaction from continuously improving processes.
Our distinction from other riding holiday agencies is that we offer only the best safaris in the world and create a community of riders looking to experience the very best. You will have similar discerning standards and take great pride in maintaining these standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will oversee the entire client journey, from onboarding to post-ride feedback. This includes tasks such as responding to guest enquiries, supporting bookings, sending invoices, liaising with ride operators about availability and pricing, checking in with clients as departure day nears, and gathering feedback afterward.
You will be responsible for internal reporting and our maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our directory of rides.
You will maintain great relationships and clear lines of communication with our ride operators.
You will understand our guests’ requirements, listen to them, and match their wants and needs to one of our riding safaris of a lifetime.
You will study our rides in depth so you can best advise our clients on their options.
You will be a true believer in accuracy. You’ll understand getting the details right at every stage of a holiday is vital. We are sticklers for this, and you will be too.
You will work to continuously improve our processes.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will:
Understand the importance of building meaningful connections and providing exceptional, personalized service.
Be passionate about horses and travel, even if they haven’t had the opportunity to experience these passions firsthand.
Exude confidence, friendliness, and approachability in every interaction.
Be fluent in English and proficient with Google Sheets and Excel.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to calmly solve challenges under pressure.
Thrive in a structured work environment.
Communicate effectively across multiple platforms, including email, social media, WhatsApp, and phone.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years working in an administration, finance, executive assistant role or simlar.
Excellent excel / google sheets skills (writing formulas, formatting, copying templates, validating data)
Must have access to fast wifi to be online every work day. This role will not suit a digital nomad who cannot commit to connectivity.
Please only apply if you are able to work Mon - Fri from 9am - 12pm London time. There is limited flexibility on start time. Because of the volume of applications we receive regretfully we cannot respond to applications who cannot meet this commitment.
